287 huh?

So yet another batch of TCEians get placed ‘successfully’ in TCS.
Guess the faculty shud be hopping by now.
Finally the placement officer gets some print space.
As a 2-yr veteran of the placement dept of TCE, i guess am amongst the most eligible non-staff members to talk about it. But then i digress. So maybe in a later post.

Anyways, for any final yr TCEians who happen toread my blog, dont get it up ther with the placements. If you want work exp before doing a PG, go for a bigger MNC.
And please not the ones that happen to come visit the guest house near Thirupparangundram.
Plenty of off-campus drives happening just about every other week.

  1. I fully acknowledge ur views on placements. Its not long before people start to realise “mass recruitments” are nothing more than mere numbers..

  2. Hi Santhosh,That’s a nice picture of the college. I’ve been trying to find it on Google Maps, but wasn’t very successful!I’m an alumnus of TCE (MCA, ‘91). I was in the college recently (Jan 20-21) for an Alumni meet, discussing ways the Alumni can help with the Golden Jubilee celebrations.I recently posted a blog entry – “Walk down memory lane at TCE” (at http://thisthoughtcounts.blogspot.com/), and would love to have your comments from another TCE alumnus.
